The least-clicked link in our footer is the most important one: Lab Results. I get it. A lab sheet is a boring document. Boring is the point. Here's how to read one in ninety seconds, and why we bother publishing them at all.
What actually gets tested
Third-party labs answer a narrow question with expensive equipment: does the number on the can match what's in the pouch? Stated nicotine versus measured nicotine, batch by batch, from a lab that doesn't work for the brand. Not marketing. Measurement.
Why that number is everything
Every good decision you make in this category leans on the label telling the truth. Your spot on the strength ladder assumes 6 means 6. Your daily-count math assumes every pouch in the can is the same pouch. A "6" that's actually a 9 quietly breaks all of it — and you'd blame yourself, because how would you know? The lab sheet is how you know. Label accuracy is the entire contract between you and the can.
How to read one without a chemistry degree
- Product and batch. Confirm the sheet matches the can — flavor, strength, lot.
- Stated vs measured nicotine. The only row that matters. You want measured sitting close to stated, consistently, across batches.
- The date. Recent testing on current batches beats a glowing report from two years ago.
