ZYN Spearmint Mini, 3 or 6 mg
Clean spearmint with eucalyptus behind it and a soft menthol cool, in the small, dry mini pouch. The eucalyptus keeps it from tasting watery, which is where most light spearmints go wrong. This is the spearmint for people who use 3 to 6 mg, and our post on the lightest pouches we sell called it the best made of the light minis. ZYN Spearmint Slim, 6 or 9 mg
Same family, different recipe: spearmint with peppermint, menthol and a touch of eucalyptus, in the longer slim pouch. It's brighter and cooler than the Mini, with a sharper finish. If you want spearmint with some edge, this is the can, and the 6 is one of the few Slims that starts at the Mini's top strength. The 11 is sold out, so the 9 is the everyday pick.
Which one, and at what strength
The two 6 mg versions aren't the same pouch, even though the number matches. The Mini at 6 is small and dry, and it delivers its nicotine quickly and then fades. The Slim at 6 is longer and moister on the gum, and it spreads the same nicotine over a longer stretch, with peppermint in the mix. - You use 6 mg and like a short, clean pouch: the Mini at 6.
- You use 6 mg and want it to last longer: the Slim at 6.

The two cans that are secretly spearmint

The name only tells you it's cold, but the flavor is spearmint, and it's by far the coldest can on our spearmint page. White Fox Double Mint, 12 mg. Peppermint over spearmint in a dry, all-white slim, with a clean cool. The spearmint is the sweetness under the peppermint bite, which is why the can never tastes harsh and why it got its own review.
