Pablo vs White Fox: Which Heavy Pouch Wins, and Which One to Order

Can of Pablo Ice Cold 24mg nicotine pouches

Pablo and White Fox are both strong Scandinavian pouches, but they're very different products. Both brands are in stock here at $9.99 a can, so this comparison is about which one to actually order.

Strength: Pablo has the bigger numbers

This part is simple. White Fox makes Original, Double Mint and Peppered Mint at 12 mg, Full Charge at a listed 16 and Black Edition at 17. Pablo starts where White Fox stops: Gold at 17, Ice Cold and X Ice Cold at 24, and Exclusive at 30. Gold and Black Edition are sold out right now, each with a notify-me form, and X Ice Cold isn't listed. If you're comparing maximum nicotine, Pablo is in a different tier. That makes it the stronger pouch, but not necessarily the better one.

Flavor: White Fox is distinctive, Pablo has variety

You could recognize White Fox Original without reading the lid. It's cool, slightly salty and a little piney, with no menthol freeze. It tastes Scandinavian in a way that makes more sense once you've tried enough Scandinavian pouches to accept "forest" as a flavor. Pablo is bolder and has far more range: Frosted Ice, Grape Ice, Dark Cherry, Cherry Cola, Lemonade and Strawberry Cheesecake, with twenty flavors in the Exclusive line alone. The flavors are as strong as the nicotine. If you want one flavor done with total commitment, buy White Fox. If you want variety to rotate through, go with Pablo.

Cold: two different kinds

Don't assume White Fox Original is a menthol bomb. It isn't, and the cold is fairly subtle. Pablo Frosted Ice and Ice Cold are all about the cold. If mint is what you're comparing, use White Fox Double Mint for White Fox. It came out on top of all 26 mints in the store in our mint roundup, while Pablo Exclusive Frosted Ice was our pick if you want the most intense mint possible. Both picks are right, just for different customers.

Price and packs: the same for both

Every can from both brands is $9.99, and singles and the 5, 10, 25 and 50-can packs all work out to the same price per can. While Buy 1 Get 1 Free is on, it covers both brands and you can mix them: a Pablo and a White Fox cost the same as one can. The choice comes down to what you like, not the price.

Which one is stronger?

Pablo, and it isn't close. White Fox tops out at 17 mg, and Pablo goes up to 30.

Which one has the more distinctive flavor?

White Fox. Pablo has more variety, but White Fox Original tastes like nothing else, and nobody would mistake it for another brand's mint. That counts for something.

So which one do you order?

  • Your 11 mg ZYN isn't doing it anymore and you want mint: White Fox Double Mint, 12 mg. It's the best mint in the store, and one step up.
  • You want to know what a Swedish pouch tastes like: White Fox Original, 12 mg.
  • You want Pablo without going to 30: Pablo Gold Grape Ice or Gold Frosted Ice at 17 mg, once Gold is back in stock. Until then, Ice Cold at 24 is the place to start. Gold is also the fair comparison with Black Edition, since both are 17 mg.
  • You want the most cold and the most nicotine, and you're experienced: Pablo Exclusive Frosted Ice, 30 mg.
  • You can't decide: order one single of each brand. At $9.99 a can, and with the second one free while Buy 1 Get 1 is on, trying both costs less than picking the wrong one.

Both brands are on our strongest pouches page, and each has its own page too: Pablo and White Fox. Most orders placed before 2 PM ET ship the same business day, we sell to adults 21+ only, and independent lab reports are on our lab results page.
