Every ZYN Flavor We Stock, Ranked by a Guy Who's Tried Them All
We carry around thirty ZYN variants, I've run a can of every one of them, and a tier list is the only honest format for this. Disagree in the reviews section, that's what it's for.
S tier: the ones I rebuy without thinking
Cool Mint. The bestselling pouch in America is the bestselling pouch in America for a reason. Crisp, balanced, zero surprises. If ZYN made only this, they'd still be huge.
Black Cherry. The best non-mint ZYN, and it's not close. Dark, ripe, doesn't go cough-syrup on you the way cheap cherry always threatens to.
Coffee. Weird on paper, great in the lip. Roasty, slightly sweet, and the 6mg makes a frankly excellent fake espresso break in meetings you can't leave.
A tier: great, just not first off the shelf
Spearmint: Cool Mint's softer sibling. Sweeter, rounder, the better pick if peppermint reads as aggressive to you.
Citrus: bright, a little bitter in a good way. Summer pouch.
Icy Mint / Menthol Ice: when you want the cold without going to VELO. The menthol does real work here.
Cool Watermelon: the Pakistan-exclusive line everyone asks about. Sweet but short of bubblegum. Earns the hunt.
B tier: solid rotation pieces
Tropical, Peach, Apple Mint, Red Fruits, Cool Blueberry. Nothing wrong with any of these. They're the supporting cast: good for keeping a rotation from going stale, rarely anyone's number one. Peach is the sleeper of the group. The South African line did it right.
The acquired tastes
Guava Spice splits people clean down the middle. Floral-fruity with an actual spice edge; I'm pro, half my regulars are anti. Sour Ruby has a tartness that either wakes up your whole face or annoys you. No middle ground reported so far.
A note on Mini vs Slim, since it changes the answer
Several of these come in both formats. Minis are smaller (about 0.4g), capped at lower strengths, and honestly the better vehicle for the delicate flavors. Spearmint Mini at 1.5mg is a genuinely pleasant entry pouch. Slims carry more punch and more flavor payload. Same $9.99 either way.
Full lineup with strengths is on the ZYN collection page, which also has a proper strength guide if you're deciding between 3, 6, 9, and up. If you're brand new to pouches entirely, read the starter guide first and ignore my S tier until you've got your dose figured out.
